Rented a Jet ski on Monday afternoon. Everything was perfect. They got me on the water immediately and everything was perfect with the Jet Ski. Returning it was quick and easy with no hold ups. I’ve rented jet skis & boats from various places around the country and it seems like there is always a lot of time spent getting you on the water and going. These guys were super quick and nice. Definitely would recommend renting from the Alcova Marina without a doubt. The crew at the Alcova Marina has done an outstanding job making the best possible Lake experience they can. Good job Alcova Lakeside Marina & Crew!

My daughter and I took a sunset cruise through the canyon and it was definitely a highlight of our cross-country road trip! The scenery was stunning and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Our captain was a charming young man, who was able to tell us a lot about the wildlife and the region. We took the cruise without food or drink, but it didn't feel like anything was missing. They do recommend that you bring a blanket at night, and that's a good idea. Toward the end of the ride, it was getting chilly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Excellent time had by all. Rented the deck boat and a tube and it all operated smoothly. Great staff to help you along the way. Previous rentals were for pontoons and those were great experiences as well. Ate at the marina for dinner which is always a nice end to a perfect day.

Decided to do a kayak trip while visiting Casper Wy, went to the Alcova Resort and they went above and beyond to provide us a wonderful experience. Sam was able to take us to Fremont Canyon, with phenomenal granite walls towering above. This trip is well worth your time. Wonderful!

First of all, this was an amazing 10/10 experience. Made us love Wyoming. My sister and I are city girls through and through. We were road-tripping from Los Angeles to New York and were frankly dreading going through Wyoming. We reserved a kayak tour for the canyon. Due to unforeseen circumstances we were 3 hours late, but the crew didn’t hold it against us. Upon arrival, Sam took us out to the canyon via pontoon so we could paddle back. The views are gorgeous, but conditions in the afternoon were pretty windy. Despite this, we paddled back to the resort in what Hank said was record time! Enjoyed a few beers before heading back to our hotel in Casper. Make sure to hit happy hour for half off drinks. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer. Who knew Wyoming would be the highlight of our trip? Heck yeah we’ll be back!

Our Story

Alcova Resort has been a summertime staple for Casper residents and tourists for decades.

Alcova Resort is a family business that is locally owned and operated, and prides itself on providing the very best customer service and experience for all visitors.

The current ownership and management team has been working tirelessly since they took over in 2018 to provide the very best for visitors of Alcova Reservoir and Fremont Canyon.

Our managers and staff wish to extend heartfelt thanks to our customers whose loyalty sustained us despite limited services after the fire.

The new building will be fully operational for the 2025 season. We are excited to return to full service, and look forward to a summer season of family, friends, and fun in 2025, at Alcova Resort.
